Day 12: Faith Grows in Pressure – From Stretch to Strength

✨ Faith Bigger Than a Mustard Seed – Day 12: Faith Grows in Pressure – From Stretch to Strength

Scripture: Romans 5:3-4 – “Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

Every trial we go through feels like pressure. And let’s be real—it is.
But what I’ve learned? The pressure is never pointless.

God uses pressure to stretch our faith into strength.
It’s not punishment—it’s preparation.

When I look back over my life, I see how the hardest seasons built the deepest roots.

One of the clearest moments for me was when it came to handling loss.
I had already walked with my grandparents through their final days. I helped plan their funerals, handled the arrangements, and learned what that weight felt like. And though it was hard—it prepared me.

So when it came time to bury my mom…
I was ready.

Not because it didn’t hurt.
But because God had been strengthening me behind the scenes.
She left me a list. And through the tears, I followed it—step by step.
And I saw how everything I’d faced before had prepared me to walk through this season with grace.

And it wasn’t just in grief.
Even in business, God’s been stretching my faith and showing me that nothing I’ve walked through is wasted.

I studied accounting and business.
I worked in mortgage and learned all about structure, payments, follow-ups.

And now?
Even though my business is creative and looks totally different from what I studied—I use every piece of that past training.

  • When I track my revenue.
  • When I follow up with a client who’s behind.
  • When I structure a deal or handle a contract.

It all connects.
The pressure I was under in those past seasons? It was God building capacity in me for where I am now.

So today, I want to tell you:
If you feel stretched—good.
If it feels tight, uncomfortable, or unfamiliar—God’s growing you.
You’re not breaking.
You’re building.

Say this with me today:
“God is producing something powerful in me. I don’t break—I build.”
