Getting To Know God For Yourself

Getting To Know God For Yourself

Do you want to know God better? Do you want God’s peace, presence, protection, and provision in your life? Do you want to know for sure that you will have a life after death in heaven? If so, simply:

1) Recognize and Humble yourself before God Almighty

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. –James 4:10

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. -1 Peter 5:6

You may be at the point where you realize that some things can’t be changed through self-effort. We ALL need God to make things better in our lives. Whether you need physical or emotional healing, finances, friends, or peace of mind, God has it all. Are you ready to ask Him to make a difference in your life?

2) Believe in JESUS

If you confess with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.- Romans 10:9

Have you heard of the “Good News”? The “Good News” is:

“For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself as a ransom for all” (1 Timothy 2:5).

God sent Jesus Christ to be the Savior of the world. Romans 10: 9-10 says, “For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe in your own heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation.

3) Say This Prayer:

This simple prayer, when prayed insincerity, will bring you into a personal relationship with God. This prayer follows the book, The Hour That Changes the World: A Practical Plan for Personal Prayer, 25th Anniversary Edition By Dick Eastman.

Heavenly Father, I come to you Praising you for ALL that you have done for me in my life. Although I have troubles I know, You are Bigger than any problems I have while here on Earth. I acknowledge that I need Your help. , I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I am not able to change my life or circumstances through my own efforts. I know that I have made some wrong decisions in my life, “Nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” (Matthew 26:39, ESV).. I believe You, My Jehovah Jireh has provided a way for me to receive Your blessings and help in my life. That way is Jesus Christ. Right now, I believe and confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I ask Jesus to come into my heart and give me a new life, by Your Spirit. I Praise You for saving me and I Thank You for Your grace and mercy in my life each and every day I have Your breath in my body. I give ALL GLORY & HONOR to You & pray in the loving spirit of  Jesus’ name.

If you just prayed this prayer, we’d like to know! We want to pray for you and with you.
